I'm not saying we're not all capable of what we did that day even without anything affecting us - but until this place cursed us we hadn't done any of that, we were getting along and we were pretty happy, weren't we?

[She looks up into his eyes, not sugar-coating anything or trying to hide the truth from him, being honest but at the same time trying to show him the good side of things.]

They weren't affected as badly as you were but I'm pretty sure some of them were. Karkat, Kanaya... And you did scare them, Gamzee. Even if you wouldn't have meant to at any other time.

[He nodded.]

Yea, I was motherfucking happy sis.

[Now that Nepeta mentioned it, Karkat didn't seem to be acting the way he normally would as pale-bros should, and as for the others? They seemed quicker to jump in then normally too.]

I scared my motherfucking self Nep... I don't wanna all up and act like that again.

[She smiles, a little tired - more emotionally than anything else - but still trying to be reassuring. It's been incredibly tough coping without Equius around, but having Gamzee back helps a little bit at least.]

[Papping her back as he pulled her into another close hug. Between Karkat and Nepeta, Gamzee should be able to keep his shit together.]

[With that said, Gamzee heaved Nepeta up, over a shoulder like a troll who fights fires would and strolls off towards the horn pile.]

[She squeals and laughs as he hoists her up, letting him carry her pretty much as he pleases.]

Where is your pile, Gamzee?

[That squeal and laugh was all Gamzee needed to hear to feel so much better, he just hadn't known it.]

Uuuuhh... Good motherfucking point sis.

[He span around a few times, getting his bearings and also just a little bit to make Nepeta dizzy :o)]

[There's more dizzy laughter coming from the kitty troll, but she doesn't cling in fright or flail to get down. She trusts him not to drop her.]

Gamzeeeee! We have to find it! [SHE HAS BEEN PROMISED CUDDLES AND SHE INTENDS TO GET THEM.]

[His pile is actually inside the hive.. He's not sure Nepeta will want to go back in... Not through the front door anyway, seeing as there was still blood stained on the stairs.]

I motherfucking know where it is sis!

[Walking around to the other side of the hive, Gamzee looked up... If he followed the drain pipe, he'd be able to climb it and get in through his window.]

Ups-a-motherfucking-daisy!

[Now she does start flailing a little, though. She'd assumed he'd moved his pile elsewhere, not left it in the hive.]

Gamzee! Where are we going?!

To my motherfucking horn pile.

[He stopped, seeing as Nepeta was flailing and set her down.]

What's up sis? I... I thought you all up and wanted to get this motherfucking hug-fest on the road?

[Maybe they're have to go to Nepeta's pile, if she didn't want to go back inside the hive.]

I do! I really do! But...not in there. Maybe we can move the pile somewhere nicer?

[It would still involve entering the hive but at least they wouldn't have to linger. She doesn't think she'd be too happy cuddling in there.]

[He smiled and nodded, setting his large hands to her shoulders.]

Actually sis, that's a motherfucking better idea! You just sit right here and I'll all up and get that shit.

[He pressed his forehead to her, closed his eye and nuzzled.]

You just wait your ass here, I'll be right back.

Oh...okay! I can do that! I won't go anywhere!

[She'd meant to help him out since it was a rather large pile that he had to move, but really, if she could avoid going in there...

Though she does feel bad letting him go on his own, especially after the affectionate way he's just nuzzled her. The hive has bad memories in it for him too after all.]

Gamzee, wait! I'll come and help you move it too!

[Gamzee turned his back to her for a moment, taking hold of the drain pile on the wall and pressing his foot on one of the bricks that stuck out more. He slowly started to move upwards, facial expression kind of sad )o: ]

Huh?

[Nepeta calling him to wait made him stop. Looking over a shoulder down at the smaller troll as she spoke. His face lit up once more and he nodded.]

I all up and tell you what motherfucker, lemme climb on in, and I'll get with the tossing of those motherfucking horns out the window? Can you all up and get your kitty catching on sis?

[A wide grin pulled over his pained lips, so pleased that she wanted to help again.]

[That's better, any amount of dealing with bad memories is worth it to get Gamzee smiling again!]

Ohhh, yes, yes, I can do that fur sure! I'll catch every single one!

Now that's what I'm motherfucking talking about. Honk honk!

[Clambering in through the window, Gamzee clattered and banged around as he gathered as many horns as he could. It was kind of horrible, being in there and all, but it wasn't for long!

Soon enough he dangled back out of the window, tossing out horn after horn for Nepeta to catch.]

[In the meantime Nepeta has had a brainwave! She took off her trenchcoat and holds it out as a great big receptacle to catch all of the horns Gamzee's throwing down at her. It should make it easier to carry them away as well!]
