Scratches. Nothing significant. She was clearly outmatched from the start, but insistent on continuing. She almost seemed to be enjoying it right up until she spat in my face as I was winning.

[Equius is relaxing against the wall, wiping grease off and shaking his head. Marisa was being taken over to the clinic, and would get patched up. That, at least, was a good thing. However, Nepeta looked annoyed.

We began to speak over the network, and she started insulting our race. So, of course, I explained to her the limitations of her own. It wasn't meant to be insulting, but ... it was as if she was looking for a fight.

You have a point on both counts I suppose. I had not thought of attempting to dupe her into believing that the purpose was to gloat over victories, not check in to make sure she is acceptably uninjured.

In truth, there is very little to speak of. She was prattling about some nonsense or another, and we spoke regarding the nature of humanity in comparison to our glorious race. I attempted to be politic about it, but she was ... boisterous in describing her prowess and would not take no for an answer.

When she arrived, she was clearly wishing the fight.

I am surprised, though, that ... I have almost found black romance in this place not once, but twice. It is unexpected. The reduction in my might has been... helpful in keeping match-ups more or less even-handed.
